3 These were David’s sons who were born to him while he was in Hebron: His first son was Amnon, ⌞born⌟ to Ahinoam from Jezreel. The second was Daniel, ⌞born⌟ to Abigail from Carmel. ² The third was Absalom, ⌞born⌟ to Maacah (the daughter of King Talmai) from Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.
